2010, a year of big changes for our U2 tribute band!!! The departure of Alex (The Edge) Ekmekjian after 6 years of adventures and emotions with us had left a big hole to fill. It’s now with Jean Lemire that the band continues on its journey. After a nice, warm welcome to the music scenery of U2 at Mon Ami Pierrôt in Longueuil followed by the very chic bar Bleu-Blanc-Rouge of Rosemère, Jean and the band are now ready for the biggest event of this band’s career, the festival L’Assomption en Fête, Friday the 13th at 10pm.

Repentigny's Fire and Ice Festival was one of the best and worst experiences Out Of Control has lived. The bad experience being the cold that froze our fingers the whole time, made a guitar string break at the sound check, and made the snare drumhead rip during the first part of the show . The best, though, was that we've been welcomed as kings and treated as kings. Besides all the praise that Jean-Yves Lemay gave us - host of the french radio station, Rhythme FM 105.7 FM - with his extraordinary "dudeness". Ha also gave Sylvain, our singer, the opportunity to give a live interview with Mario Lirette during his show, "Les weekends à Mario", just before going on stage. The crowd also welcomed us with open arms and sang with us throughout the 2 sets we played. This is to say; It was "Big"!

Hello, Hello, a lot of new stuff for OOC since the latest news written in this section. Since December, we've made Quebec City (Dagobert), Sept-îles (Seven Island Tour, inside joke) and few shows on the south shore of Montreal. In between, we had a new bass player for some gigs due to uncontrolled circonstances for Daniel to made up. So Sebastien who since was soundman for OOC, joined in. And by now, he is the regular bass player of the band cause of the departure of Daniel who was unavailable for the next moments, things had changed in his life so he decided to quit, for a moment. But he knows that if he wants to come back for few shows in the future to play Adam Clayton, he is the welcome one. Now, we're lookin forward for our next show on june 8th at the Pub St-Paul in Old Montreal. And we play on the week-end of the Formula One race, so there will be a lot of nice people in the place, it will be great !!! Don't miss that event

October 31st 2005
Both shows in Lachine and St-Jean-sur-Richelieu are now in the past. Even if we had some technical problems, it was pleasant for us to play during Halloween, in front of people ... dressed with original costumes. We can say that in both places, the party was at the "rendez-vous".
We hope to see you at bar l'Authentique in Ste-Julie.

July 6th 2005
Our small show at Les Cèdres was a success. We played around twenty songs et we had to stop because of the amount of mosquitos. We were lucky because the weather was perfect. Funny moment, when we started to play, all neighbors went out on their balcony ... the feeling was the same as the video of Where the streets have no name. Next step for us ... the private show at La Conception.
